Is anyone going to Teslacon who can order an extra ticket for me? I will pay you immediately. I just found out tickets are going on sale at 8am Tuesday . . . but they are in Central time, I am in Eastern time, and I will be in front of a classroom for 3 hours starting at that time (9am EST). (And my husband works in a park, so he's not exactly at a computer either.)

I am working on a larger academic project on steampunk, and I've been told this is the one must-attend event that I haven't been to yet. I'm trying to contact the organizer, as well, but it is a super-popular event and I'm sure mine will not be the only hard luck story.

I have friends who have been to all the TeslaCons so far, and by all reports it would be well worth your time and you would have a blast. It's a very well run Con, which counts for a lot in my book.
