1. Estimate the total number of books you've owned in your life.
Probably around 2000. I have about 1000 at any given moment, and due to the size of my apartment, I donate books fairly often.
2. What's the last book you bought?
Seven Men by Aubrey Beardsley. (Found a nifty 1919 copy in one of those National Trust charity bookshops on my UK trip.) Last non-used book, Climbers by M. John Harrison.
3. What's the last book you read?
Last finished Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson, but that's boring since I've mentioned it here recently. Currently reading The Bronte Myth by Jocasta Miller and Metamorphoses by Ovid.
4. List 5 books that mean a lot to you.
The Waves by Virginia Woolf
Middlemarch by George Eliot
Aegypt by John Crowley
Possession by A. S. Byatt
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
Not tagging anyone but if you haven't done this one yet, I'd love to see your response.
