To be fair, I only knew the answers to the science questions because I've been copyediting so much chemistry lately.

I knew science was my week point, because I recognized Isaac Newton because I teach a week on the Scientific Revolution in the spring.

Since you copyedit science texts, you may feel my pain on this one -- the index I'm writing now is for a book by the guy who headed up the DNA testing after the World Trade Center attacks. I now know far, far more about genetic forensics than I ever needed to.

Wow! I imagine indexing for science must be a particular challenge if you aren't that familiar with the subject matter.
