I haven't been on LJ for nearly a week, due to a combination of circumstances: the blackout (Chelsea, along with the Lower East Side, were the last neighborhoods in NYC, which was the last place in the country, to get power back), Columbia's server not letting me in over the weekend, and a rush deadline made worse by the days of work I lost to the blackout.

Just in case anyone was wondering. Will start to catch up soon, after the deadline. My blackout stories are good -- though not dissimilar to anyone else's, I imagine.
