Since M. and I were both off from work yesterday, and since he knew I needed some cheering up, he suggested we see a daytime showing of Matrix: Revolutions.
It was a lot more satisfying than the second one, though it didn't have anything like the impact of the first. But it was exciting, there was closure, etc. And Agent Smith makes me laugh -- in fact, M. and I were the only ones in the theater laughing at a lot of places where I cannot imagine *how* the rest of the audience wasn't tickled. Hmmm. . . . Plus as a good academic, I had to grin ear-to-ear whenever Cornel West had a line. It's like in the union rules.
