Feb. 22nd, 2005 10:45 amThe last two times I've tried to post, after composing a detailed entry, I've gotten a "your server is being serviced; try again later" message and my entry's never popped up.
Summary version: busy but fun week last week, with my friends who live in France showing up (they always phone *after* they get here -- luckily, this time my schedule was flexible enough that I got to spend a good amount of time with them), my mom in town, quality time spent with people's (quite adorable) children, thoughts on parenthood (and why is it that some people keep pressing when you say it's not likely you're going to have kids?), visits to MOMA and Gates, taking several groups (friends from France and mutual friends from here, then my mom and aunt) to M.'s restaurant, scoring some wonderful vintage sweaters (50's through 1990, some cashmere) that my aunt found stored away in an airtight box.
Of course the full versions were far more insightful and interesting, but hopefully this time it'll post.
