Dammit.

Just finished s. 1 of Wynonna Earp, and now the first half of s. 2, which was on SyFy On Demand *last week* is gone.

Being an impatient type, I plunged into 2.8, but dammit, I'm missing a lot.

And now I realize that Bobo has something in common with Spike.

Also, we watched the first Star Trek: Discovery. Pretty good, too many subtitled Klingon scenes. And sad to see Michelle Yeoh listed as "special guest star" -- she's fabulous.

M can't get CBS: All Access to run on our smart TV, so we may be watching the rest on his phone.

And now I am wanting to rewatch Deadwood, which I *do* own complete on DVD.

I hadn't thought of it before, but you're right: Bobo and Spike have certain similarities in their backstories.

I'm rather sad that Michelle Yeoh isn't going to stick around as the new captain; I would have enjoyed that a great deal. She was fantastic.

Since I missed the first 7 episodes of s. 2 -- Syfy pulled them down after I started s. 1 on Netflix and before I finished it, dammit! -- I jumped in to s. 8 and there Robert is, all glasses and properly suited and all I could think was "William!" And the tough-guy persona and the rocker hairstyle and the coat . . . yeah.

Jason Isaacs is pretty great, too, but I was really into Hong Kong action films for awhile and Michelle Yeoh was one of the absolute standouts for me. And the two primary characters being women? Too wonderful! Hopefully we at least see much more of her.

Hopefully you'll get a chance to watch the episodes you missed at some point. I imagine some things will make a little more sense, including certain things about the baby storyline.

I'm sure a lot of things will make more sense! Either Netflix will put it up, or SyFy will before the next season airs.

I just know that the actress was pregnant IRL, so they rolled with it -- but not much else.

I also noticed that Nicole seemed to be morphing into Black Widow, in the sense that her hair was more and more resembling Scarjo's in the Avengers movies, what with getting shorter and brighrer red, and instead of dowdy sheriff's clothes, she seemed to be wearing something blacker and more form-fitting.
