Peggy & Howard on Avengers: Secret Wars

So, I just watched this.

Are these animated things taken as canon? Am I overthinking things -- if Peggy is with Howard on New Year's Eve in 1949, does that mean Daniel is not a thing in her life by then? Or just that the people who made the cartoon are more up on the Avengers movies than on Agent Carter?

It was great to see Peggy and know she was voiced by Hayley. I thought Howard was a nice blend between Dominic Cooper and John Slattery, visually, though his voice sounded like neither.

And . . . that was obviously for kids. If the 8:30am Sunday timeslot wasn't enough of a giveaway.

As far as I know, the animated cartoon isn't part of the MCU; it's based on the comics. So none of the MCU-only characters (Daniel, Jack, Angie, 1940s Jarvis, etc) exist in the cartoon world - if Peggy has a 1940s ship in the cartoon at all, it'd most likely be Gabe Jones, her love interest from the comics.
