John Constantine???

wait -- so my DVR picks up a little early when I record iZombie and there's John Constantine, played by the same guy from the one-season show, on Legends of Tomorrow? How long has this being going on? And is the CW considering bringing back a Hellblazer show?

He's been guesting on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow whenever they can get him on. Two or three times now, I think? I would love for them to bring the show back on the CW in whatever way they can. Plus I've heard that they're bringing him in as a regular on season four of Legends of Tomorrow. "If" they renew it, which they'd better. I fucking well love that show.

Yeeeeees, please. Though how that's going to work, I don't know, as "plays well with others" is not in John Constantine's skill set, but it's not really in half of their crew's skill set and the show works anyway.

I think Arrow has turned into a clusterfuck and a trainwreck, but I highly recommend at least watching Matt Ryan's episodes. They're some of the best Arrow episodes of the latter seasons. (Also they feature Sara and Laurel's friendship strongly, which was one of the only redeeming qualities for me until the writers killed off Laurel.)

(Plus apparently CW Seed has an animated Constantine series? Which I did not know about until just now.)

Yay! When I have some free time (aka maybe this summer) I will have to research this. I loved the Constantine show and I remember watching something I don't usually watch because he was guesting on it a few years after cancellation, but I thought it was a one off. I don't watch the CW DC shows (except Supergirl, which of course I watch!) just due to lack of time, but that is certainly motivation.

Now if only Marvel would take the hint and do the same by having Peggy Carter pop up in more places . . .
