I'm doing my required words about every other day and less than that every other day, but after missing two days entirely, I determined I would even get 300 words out if that's all I could do.

I keep thinking it must be terrible, but I also see the bones of the story I want to write. I let myself daydream about the characters and scenes a lot. I guess it's a romantic mystery, in that I'm more interested in the not-yet-a-couple's interactions than I am in some of the nitty gritty. I'm letting myself write scenes out of order, as they come to me, which works better for me than trying to plough straight through.
