Yuletide Letter

Hello, and thank you for writing for me. The honest truth is that I will be happy to receive whatever you feel inspired to write in whatever fandom we match in, so if I’m requesting something that’s way outside of your wheelhouse, don’t worry too much. I’m fine with anything from G-rated to sexually explicit and will be happy anywhere along that range, though sexual violence should be in service of the plot, only. I do tend to prefer gen, het, and femslash, largely because I have a strong interest in female characters, and male slash tends to sideline them. Ironically, though, my primary fandom (which is still rare enough to be listed here) centers on two main male characters, so “I contradict myself. I contain multitudes.” Since it’s a holiday exchange, I’d rather the story fall somewhere on a scale from happy to outright angsty, but not utterly unredeemably dark.
The Defenders
Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Matt Murdock
I'm a sad Jessica/Luke shipper, and if you want to write anything in the Netflixverse about the two of them, you will make me tremendously happy, whether it's shippy or not. Jess with either or both of the others in casefic, especially if it's snarky, will delight me as well. I'd rather not see ships that exclude Jessica, but Jess/Matt or an OT3 works for me, too. Or no ship at all.

Kid Curry, Hannibal Heyes
I love these guys, and anything you write about them, whether it's playful or serious, during outlaw days, the series, or postamnesty -- I love it all! I totally get how extremely slashable they are, but I don't slash them -- that incredible devotion between two people when it's NOT part of a sexual relationship seems even more amazing to me. (For that matter, since canon is inconsistent, I prefer them as friends rather than cousins -- for the exact same reason.) So I'd prefer gen, please. But having said that on my signup sheet, I’m pretty much good with whatever you’re inspired to write.
Deadwood
Alma, Al, Seth, Joanie
I ship the rare pairing of Alma/Al really hard, because together they could rule the world. But really something centering on any of my listed characters would make me happy, especially if it gets inside their fascinating psyches. If you want to explore their damage, write about their backstories, or think about any of them in connection with each other or with other characters in the show (Joanie/Jane, for example), I want to read it.
Jessica Jones
Jessica, Trish, Malcolm
Season 2 absolutely shattered me, especially coming after that amazing "I love you" moment at the end of season 1 where it was clear how important Trish was to Jess. So any steps towards reconciliation between Jessica and Trish, Jessica and Malcolm, Malcolm and Trish or all of them would be wonderful. Or angst regarding same.
