And my father is gone, just like that.

It's 2:30 as I type this; my flight is at 9. I'll leave for the airport in plenty of time and probably be there absurdly early, but meanwhile I can't concentrate on anything and all I can think is how much I'd like to be on my way. All packed and hours to wait.
