I skipped #3 but I'd have to give a shoutout to SSR Confidential, an annual Agent Carter fic exchange that sholio has been running.

As for #4: Goals for the Year? I kinda just did this? I guess as part of GYWO or my "resolutions" or something.

Finish the manuscript for my new novel, the historical mystery. Hopefully edit it and maybe even start sending it out to agents. My first novel was accepted unagented by the first place I sent it to, but I'm sure I've got a lot of rejection awaiting . . . .

Be a better New Yorker. Over the years, between job and long commute and marriage and money being tight, I stopped going to performances, museums, etc. very often. I went to a Nutcracker at Lincoln Center with a friend shortly before Christmas, and to the Met museum with another this past weekend. Those are the things, the reasons, I used to have for being here.

That would be delightful, but I suspect highly unrealistic - at least if I want to go with a publisher of enough size that my books might someday be stocked in bookstores . . . .
