First Yuletide: got my assignment.

Three fandoms I have never heard of. One fandom that is a) RPF (something I'm not comfortable writing) and b) a super-popular fandom that must only be eligible because it's RPF. So I'm sure there are all kinds of ins and outs I would mess up on.

And one request that is from one of the two fandoms I most wanted to write in and which asks for a story I requested myself. SCORE!!!!

Off to Amazon to order the DVDs which I've wanted for ages anyway . . .

I'm very excited and want to burble about it. But won't because of the anonymous thing.

I haven't managed to find the recipient's Dear Author letter, though. I'm also nervous because I have NOTHING on my A03 account; hope my author finds my Dear Author and doesn't think I'm a sockpuppet.

It is actually really easy to upload fic from LJ onto AO3. And hopefully your recipient will write/unlock a Dear Author letter very soon!

How will I find it, though? I can't figure that out; I know I provided a link for my placeholder, but in the message I got, I can't find the link to hers, nor evidence of whether she's got a presence on LJ or DW. (Although I am about to search because duh.)

I've been haunting the yuletide and yuletide_admin comms for information. Some people haven't written their letters yet--hopefully your recipient will soon!

I have some reading to do, but I have a good feeling about my primary fic, and am intrigued by a second prompt that I might try as well.
