lizyjn made me this nifty icon of Scorpy the kitten, and I keep forgetting to use it. We've decided he's scarily cute. The other day we caught his head and paws sticking out of a pillowcase, as if he were in a sleeping bag.
It looks as if the Alice course is a go (at least tentatively) -- and that I'll be teaching one section of that, and one section of the second course in the humanities sequence, which is mostly Enlightenment stuff (More's Utopia, Machiavelli's the Prince, The Tempest, Galileo, either Oronooko or Olaudah Equiano). I'm very pleased, to say the least.
It also looks as if I'll be going to the Slayage conference -- the Buffy academic conference. I'm going to talk on Wolfram & Hart and the (legal) code of professional responsibility. Should be fun.
Now I just need to get going on my chapter!
