chelseagirlWe saw *Lost in Translation* last night; subtle and just perfectly done. It's so nice when something that's been praised so highly lives up to the hype.
And I watched *Ladyhawke* on tv this afternoon -- I'd never seen it before. Charming, though I wish it could be rescored without all the cheesy mid-80s synthesizer on the soundtrack.
Working hard; trying to think up some good essay questions on *Agamemnon* and *Oedipus the King*. Spending lots of time at the NYU library after work. Good me. Though I also found a really nifty Italian wine bar in the East Village friday night -- or rather, was introduced to it by the friend I was out for the evening with.
