Oct. 10th, 2003 08:30 pmMajor haircut day. My hair hasn't been above my shoulders in, well, years -- I spent the lawyer years with a chin-length bob and bangs, but it's been longish to long for a very long time.
Now it's above-shoulder-length with lots of layers, and it looks much thicker and healthier. At least for a while, this is going to make me very happy.
My hairdresser is majorly cool. She's majoring in English at the New School; what I love is that she just wants the degree -- she's a fabulous hairdresser and makes good money and doesn't want another job; she just likes studying English. That's the kind of thing I like to hear. :-)

Date: 2003-10-11 07:02 am (UTC)I had my trimmed today -- the layers were all growing out and the fringe (bangs) were too long. I skipped out briefly to the High Street, had my hair cut and shopped for groceries.
No major fights yet. Ezra and James have had numerous Mexican standoffs in which they glare at each other, growl and hiss occasionally, then sit down and ignore one another. That's about it. Ezra is investigating everywhere; Abby just seems very happy to be here. :)

Date: 2003-10-11 08:02 am (UTC)Sounds like the cats are at exactly where they should be; it makes sense that they need to feel each other out and get the lay of the land.
Happy Rawson-Walden cat togetherness!
