living here TOTALLY rocks. I loev stumbling on stuff like that. And in addition to culture bursting from every crevice - brilliant flea market finds make this the happiest place on earth
we do sound sort of giddy with Gotham-ness. I'm even more so today since I just got back from Soho - where I took mom on her first "village" shopping trip since she was in college. She was very cute and excited about it. oh, she'd been downtown before - for a show or if I drag her to something specific. But she'd hadn't just wandered around Soho, popping in and out of boutiques for about - oh, about 40 years.
It's odd when you think that she grew up scrabbling around NYC from the time she could toddle all on her own.
