chelseagirlSo apparently it's called leaf-peeping, what I did this weekend. Foliage was past peak, but there were still lovely oranges and yellows all over.

ibshafer, and the next day we drove up to her sister's new house waaay upstate near Oneonta and Cooperstown. It's a lovely old house with lots of property and the Susquehanna river runs right by the side. For the first time I find myself tempted by the idea of *not* living in a city -- we'll see what happens when I go on the scary Academic Job Market next year.
M. lounging on the couch wanting me to watch *28 Days Later* with him, and as I'd been away for three days, ought not to neglect him. Must get back into LJ mode -- will soon.
